• iPhone XS, XR and newer: unlock the phone and hold the top edge near the tag.
• iPhone 7 to X: open Control Centre and tap the NFC tag reader, then hold the phone near the tag.
• Android: NFC must be turned on (Settings, search “NFC”). Hold the middle of the back of the phone near the tag.

No. Tapcessory is not a tracker and has no GPS. It only works when someone taps it. The person who taps can choose to share their location once, so you know where to go.
